Self Portrait of artist Nistasha

Through papermaking and printmaking, Nistasha’s work explores the anxieties and concerns of marginalized people in contemporary America. Nistasha’s own experience with intersectionality is supplemented with extensive research. She has a bachelors of arts in media arts and animation from the Art Institute of Colorado and a masters of arts in public relations and advertising from DePaul University. Her work is owned by the University of Louisville and has been displayed at the Dallas Public Library, Emmanuel Gallery and the Smithsonian’s S. Dilion Ripley Center.
